Working hours
Visitor Centre by the Zvartes Rock is open seasonally; from the 1st April - only during weekends, depending on weather conditions and on the opening of the new water tourism season.
From the 1st May Visitor Centre will be open daily with extended opening hours - from 9am to 6pm on working days and from 9am to 7pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Entrance Fees
Visit to Zvārtes rock and surroundings:
for adults - 1.00 Ls
for pupils (from 7 to 18 years old), students and retired people - 0.50 Ls
for children of pre-school age (from 0 to 6 years old) and disabled people - for free
Camping place – 2,00 Ls
Unfortunately at the time being there is no possibility to pay for the entrance with a credit card - we accept only cash in Lats. We are sorry for inconvenience!

For visitor attention
The visit to the Zvārtes rock is for an entrance fee, also for the pedestrians entering the area by pedestrian trails both from the Geological trail along the Amata River and Kārļi fish farm, as well as from rehabilitation centre "Skaļupes". The trail is foreseen only for pedestrians!
We kindly ask the visitors who intend to use the resting places in the close surroundings of the Zvārtes rock to take grills, coals and firewood with them because it is not allowed to set up campfires there.
We inform you that it is not possible to stay overnight in the surroundings of the Zvārtes rock. As an alternative you can use the watertourist campsite „Amata”.
We kindly ask you to care for nature and tourism facilities, as well as to leave your resting place in good order, so that the next visitors would stay there with pleasure!
